Final design, executive design and management of works for the restoration and development of the former Royal Palace in Tripoli (Libya), to develop the "Museum of Libya" with the use of multimedia and interactive technologies.
The “New Museum of Libya is based on the concept of “Edutainment” (education entertainment), conceived to educate and to amuse as well.
The Museum with 3000 sq.m. exhibition space (18 exhibition halls ) offers a complete panorama of Libyan cultural themes. The intent is to show the content to the eyes of the country and the entire world in a modern and international style, enhancing the five human senses by using interactive multimedia technology (holograms, fog screen, elio display, navigation images 360°...).
The museum was made in the Royal Palace, constructed between 1924 and 1939 by Milanese architect Saul Meravigilia Mantegazza, in a neomoresco style.Museum development project is designed as a "system" that runs along the exhibition hall walls through a MDF wood paneling (including fan coil units, electrical wiring and networking, hydraulic tubes and speakers of odors).
In the evening on the entire surface of building Northern facade are projected a series of images representing the cultural themes of the museum: a new way to communicate with the city of Tripoli.
